Pattadakal - Karnataka, India

Pattadakal is a complex of 7th and 8th century Hindu and Jain temples of Northern Karnakata, India. Located on the west bank of the Malaprabha River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the historical significant centres of Chalukya architecture style. This style includes two types of monuments: cave temples (pillared veranda, column hall and a sanctum cut our deep into rock) and structural temples, built above ground.
