Lokrum Island, Croatia

Lokrum is a lush, forested island located just a 15-minute boat ride from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Designated as a Special Reserve of Forest Vegetation, the island is a sanctuary of nature and history where cars are prohibited and no overnight stays are allowed. Historical Landmarks include Benedictine Monastery St. Mary founded in 1023, Fort Royal (a star-shaped forttress built be the French in 1806).

Lokrum là một hòn đảo xanh tươi với thảm thực vật trù phú, nằm cách Khu phố cổ Dubrovnik 15 phút bằng thuyền. Được công nhận là Khu bảo tồn Thiên nhiên đặc biệt, hòn đảo này là một "thánh địa" của lịch sử và thiên nhiên, nơi hoàn toàn vắng bóng xe cộ và không cho phép lưu trú qua đêm. Những di tích lịch sử nổi bật tại đây bao gồm Tu viện dòng Biển Đức (St. Mary) được thành lập từ năm 1023 và Pháo đài Hoàng gia (Fort Royal) – một công trình kiến trúc hình sao kiên cố được người Pháp xây dựng vào năm 1806.

Cavtat, Croatia

Cavtat is a picturesque, relaxed coastal town often described as a quieter alternative to the bustling city of Dubrovnik. It is built on the Rat peninsula and is the center of the Konavle region, known for its traditional culture and beautiful countryside. Cavtat is surrounded by pine and cypress forests with numerous shaded walking paths that circle the peninsulas. The water is exceptionally clear, making it a popular spot for swimming in its many pebble bays and rocky coves.

Cavtat là một thị trấn ven biển thanh bình và thơ mộng, thường được ví như một lựa chọn \yên tĩnh hơn so với nhịp sống hối hả của thành phố Dubrovnik sầm uất. Thị trấn được xây dựng trên bán đảo Rat và là trung tâm của vùng Konavle, miền đất trứ danh với những giá trị văn hóa truyền thống và cảnh sắc làng quê đẹp như tranh vẽ. Cavtat được ôm ấp bởi những cánh rừng thông và bách diệp xanh mướt xen lẫn những lối nhỏ tản bộ rợp bóng mát lượn quanh bán đảo. Đặc biệt nước ở đây trong vắt tựa pha lê, biến những vịnh sỏi duyên dáng và các ghềnh đá hoang sơ thành những điểm lý tưởng để đắm mình trong dòng nước mát lành. 

Zabriskie Point

Located in Death Valley National Park, California, Zabriskie Point is one of the most famous and photographed vistas in the United States. It is renowned for its "badlands" landscape - a labyrinth of wildly eroded, multi-colored ridges and gullies. Manly Beacon is the most prominent spire visible from the point is named after William Lewis Manly, who helped guide the "Forty-Niners" out of Death Valley during the Gold Rush.

Nằm trong Công viên Quốc gia Thung lũng Chết (Death Valley National Park), California, Zabriskie Point là một trong những khung cảnh nổi tiếng và được chụp ảnh nhiều nhất tại Hoa Kỳ. Nơi đây lừng danh với địa hình "badlands" (vùng đất xấu) - một mê cung gồm những dông núi và rãnh nước đa sắc màu, bị xói mòn mạnh mẽ. Manly Beacon là ngọn tháp nổi bật nhất có thể nhìn thấy từ điểm quan sát được đặt theo tên của William Lewis Manly, người đã giúp dẫn đường cho nhóm "Forty-Niners" thoát ra khỏi Thung lũng Chết trong thời kỳ Cơn sốt vàng (Gold Rush).

 

A Model in Vietnamese Traditional Attire

This photo features a striking portrait that beautifully captures a sense of Vietnamese heritage and classical elegance. She dressed  in a highly detailed Nhật Bình, a traditional Vietnamese regal gown historically worn by noblewomen and members of the imperial court during the Nguyễn Dynasty. She is wearing a Nón Quai Thao (flat palm hat) with decorative beaded tassels, which adds a graceful structural element to the frame.

Mua Cave (Hang Múa), Vietnam

Hang Múa (Mua Cave) is a premier attraction in the Ninh Bình province of Northern Vietnam, renowned for offering the most iconic panoramic views in the region. Often called the "Great Wall of Vietnam" or "Tam Cốc's Muse," it is a staple for travelers visiting the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tràng An Landscape Complex. The main draw is a zigzagging stone staircase of nearly 500 steps carved into the limestone of Ngọa Long Mountain (Lying Dragon Mountain).

Hang Múa là một điểm tham quan hàng đầu tại Ninh Bình, miền Bắc Việt Nam, nổi tiếng với những góc nhìn toàn cảnh mang tính biểu tượng nhất trong khu vực. Thường được mệnh danh là "Vạn Lý Trường Thành của Việt Nam" hay "Nàng thơ của Tam Cốc", nơi đây là điểm đến không thể bỏ qua đối với du khách khi ghé thăm Quần thể danh thắng Tràng An đã được UNESCO công nhận là Di sản Thế giới. Điểm thu hút chính là cầu thang đá ngoằn ngoèo với gần 500 bậc thang được chạm khắc vào đá vôi của núi Ngọa Long.

Capturing the Soul of Aurangabad 

Had an incredible time exploring ancient history and stunning landscapes with Photography & Travel Tour (Nhiếp Ảnh & Du Lịch) in October 2025. A journey through time I won't soon forget! 

Aurangabad serves as a major gateway to some of India's most profound historical and religious sites. The city is a hub of Mughal and Deccan history, offering a blend of ancient rock-cut architecture and medieval fortifications.

The region is globally renowned for its ancient cave complexes, which showcase the height of Indian rock-cut architecture and religious art.

My photo collections from this trip include: 

• Ajanta Caves: a UNESCO Heritage site consisting of 30 Buddhist cases dating from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE.
• Ellora Caves: a monumental achievement of religious harmony, featuring 34 monasteries and temples belonging to Busshism, Hinduism and Jainism.  
• Pitalkhora Buddhist Caves: this complex of 14 rock-cut monuments dates back to the 2nd century BCE, making it one of the earliest examples of Buddhist architecture in the country—older even than much of Ajanta.
• Bani Begum Garden: a  quintessential Mughal "Charbagh" (four-quartered garden) serves as a memorial for Jahan Banu Begum, the consort of Prince Bidar Bakht and daughter-in-law of Emperor Aurangzeb.
• Bibi Ka Magbara: a 17th-century mausoleum commisioned by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, Dilras Banu Begum.
• Dautalabad Fort: a formidable 14th-century fortress perched on a conical hill, once the capital of the Tughlaq dynasty. 
• Ugrasen Ki Baoli: striking 14th-century stepwell located in the heart of New Delhi, near Connaught Place.
• In A New Delhi Market: Life in a market in New Delhi is a high-energy, sensory experience that defines the city's "organized chaos". The day begins early, often before sunrise at the wholesale markets.
