Wadi Rum, also known as Valley of the Moon, is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan, near the border of Saudi Arabia. Wadi Rum has been used as a background setting in a number of movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Aladdin, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Dune, Dune: Part Two, etc.
