James's Flamingo

James's flamingo, also known as puna flamingo, is a species of flamingo that lives at high altitudes in the Andean plateaux of Peru, Chile, Bolivia and northwest of Argentina. Is is named for Harry Berkeley James, a Britist who studied the bird. Related to the Andean flamingo, James's flamingos live in colonies (including shared nesting areas).
