







Ingersheim is a small charming town on the outskirts of Colmar, in the region of Alsace. Inhabited since prehistoric times, it was a property of the Habsburgs then became part of France in the middle of the seventeenth century. The town has a fine collection of old houses of winemakers. The top tourist attraction include the Saint-Église Saint-Barthélemy. Nearby are the Castle Wineck (Château du Wineck) and the Castle of Kayserberg. Castle Wineck is the only castle in Alsace surrounded by vineyards.
